Introduction:

Many hobby hydroponic units require that you purchase their seeds and nutrients.   This is good business for them as the “seed kits” may cost as much as twenty dollars ($20).   And the kit is only good for one more crop over a six-month period.   So, the question is, “How can I do this for myself?”  It is easy and you will save money as well as develop more interest in hydroponic growing.
